Keep in mind that you need to be optimistic and a firm believer that there always someone out there for every person. You should not make yourself believe true love does not exist and you are going to end up alone. You should be willing to put in effort to find out the right guy for yourself. If you love one another, then it will not seem like hard work.
When I was in college at the University of Michigan, I fell in love with two people at the same time. They were both very different. Mel was an intellectual who was doing theater. He had the potential to be great. Richard was a hippie who drank tea and meditated. I had no idea why I was in love with him except I guess I just was. I had a choice to make, and I went with Mel — the intellectual.
But the problem is when all of the relationship’s happiness is contingent on the other person and both people are in a constant state of sacrifice. Just read that again. That sounds horrible. It reminds me of an old Marilyn Manson song, “Shoot myself to love you; if I loved myself, I’d be shooting you.” A relationship based on sacrifices cannot be sustained, and will eventually become damaging to both individuals in it.

I have never felt like I missed out on a marriage or a child. I decided to make a life out of taking care of other people’s children — they are all my children. And my family has so many children who love me all the same. The life that I had growing up was too tough for me. I grew up deprived and I definitely did not want that for a child. I never wanted to bring a child onto this earth unless I could support that child and give it everything that it wanted.
It's almost impossible to buy the clothes I really want to wear (In both men and women's fashions) and so I started sewing my own clothes, having my mom teach me how to do it (She's a really talented seamstress that has been making clothes and costumes for decades). I made two button down shirts with club collars that I really like how they look. I think they look good on me and they are super comfortable.
