Everyone in my family knows how much I adore cheesecake. Anyone who wants one made comes to me because they know I have a lot of tried and tested recipes. But I was getting bored with the standard chocolate or cherry. And then I had an idea—mocha cheesecake! After lots of experiments, I came up with this recipe. Min søn får ingen pjækkedage. Både fordi det ikke er muligt for mig med kort varsel at holde fri, men faktisk også fordi jeg synes han skal lære, at man er vigtig i sit fællesskab, skal have respekt for de planlagte aktiviteter og fordi jeg grundlæggende tror at andet giver en dårlig arbejdsmoral. Jeg fatter simpelthen ikke hvordan man gør, eller bør gøre, når éns børn går i skole. Holder man så slet ikke fridage mere? I ved, de dage hvor alle andre er på arbejde og i skole og man kan tage hinanden i hånden og løbe gadedrengeløb ned igennem de halvtomme butiksgader, imens man synger bjældeklang for fuld rabalder. Må man slet ikke dét mere? Jeg tænker selv, at man jo i udgangspunktet må hvad man vil, når man er barnets forælder, men at man selvfølgelig skal have respekt for skolen og for at barnet indgår i nogle fællesskaber, som det ikke altid er smart at trække barnet ud af “fordi det er hyggeligt”, ligesom jeg også ser en stor værdi i at barnet lærer at man (selvfølgelig) overholder sine forpligtelser, da det jo gerne skulle forplante sig ud i voksenlivet også, hvor jeg naturligvis håber på at mine drenge bliver til nogle ansvarlige mænd, som overholder deres aftaler og møder til tiden og den slags. Så hvad gør man så? Hvordan balancerer man? Hvad gør I? Eller hvad ville I allerhelst gøre?
Fra 1. december frem til påske, arbejder jeg mandag, tirsdag, onsdag, torsdag, lørdag og søndag. Dvs. kun fri fredag.
