Raw desserts often feature a short list of whole, unprocessed ingredients like nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. They get their sweetness from dried fruit, raw agave nectar, and other natural sweeteners. No refined or artificial sweeteners here! They are no-bake! Great for the warmth of spring or summer, and also for energy conservation, you can avoid cranking up the oven to 350 when making a raw dessert. Most raw desserts are gluten-free and vegan!
I don’t recall arguing the idea to continue to eat unhealthy foods. I was describing why we get these cravings. Have you ever seen a dog eat grass? They don’t eat that naturally, and that’s not always to make themselves throw up like most people believe. It’s also a sign of nutrient deficiencies and they are finding ways to fill that gap. (Changing dog food can help stop their habit, because just like humans changing foods, they get what their bodies are missing)
Excellent recipe, came out amazing, delicious and just as the picture. Taste was rich and cake moist. Was a bit too sweet, will reduce the amount of sugar next time. No need to add sugar to the egg whites. If you want your cake to have height, you need to be extremelly careful while folding in the whipped egg whites. Overall I really recommend if you are a chocolate lover like me!
Never heard of PB2 before? You’re in for a treat! It’s peanut butter in powdered form, made by pressing peanuts to remove their natural oils and fat content. In the end, you get a powdered peanut butter that has about 85% to 90% fewer calories than traditional peanut butter! PB2 has become a go-to for the health conscious since it’s so easy to throw into meals, baked goods and post-workout smoothies. You still get the delicious flavour of peanut butter without all the calories!
This shake is vegan and gluten free without any added sugars. Using a tablespoon or two less peanut butter and add another tablespoon cacao to cut back the calories and fat content. This simple shake packs a fantastic flavor and is a perfect portion for a midafternoon snack or post-dinner dessert. It’s so tasty that you’ll have to be careful not to sip too fast and risk brain freeze!

The key to this is high-intensity workouts. This variation of the Keto Diet s not intended for the majority of gym-goers. If you are a runner, play on an intramural sports league, or attend cardio classes, stick with the SKD. You can still get the boost that you need with a fat bomb before or after your workout. If you are a bodybuilder, or a professional athlete, then the TKD might be for you.
The recipes include a selection of comfort foods and indulgent treats that have been made healthier by reducing their levels of fat and calories. For example, a typical slice of chocolate cake has 746 calories and 38 grams of fat, whereas Alexander’s recipe for Dark Chocolate Layer Cake with Buttercream Frosting has just 294 calories and 6 grams of fat.
The Most Decadent Diet Ever! is actually NOT a diet book! It tells the story of how I’ve lost over 70 pounds and kept it off WITHOUT dieting! Then it offers over 125 incredibly decadent recipes – the stuff we all crave (like Buffalo Wings and Chocolate Layer Cake). It’s the perfect book if you think that healthy food can’t be insanely delicious AND/OR if you love to bake (though there are plenty of “real food” recipes too). The recipes are simple, but many do take a bit of time.
